2018 Terracotta is bolder than the 2017 vintage with sweeter cherries and a stronger touch of vanilla. We took something that was great and made it even better.
The nose of this wine is spectacular, offering an array of sensations that delight without overpowering. Lavender, vanilla and mocha accent a floral bouquet of aromas underscored by a distinct smokiness.
Medium-bodied, "Terracotta" is velvet on the palate, preceding a subtle bite on the sweet-tannic finish. Flavors of black cherries, blackberries and juicy plum are underscored again by a smoky, rounded sensation through to the finish.
