The group plays traditional and modern bluegrass covers as well as original songs. The Bandits are led by Murphy Hicks Henry\, a long-time professional performer and nationally known bluegrass music teacher. Murphy plays fiddle and guitar\, Matt Occhuizzo plays guitar\, Kathy Holliday plays bass and Doug Sherburne plays 5-string banjo. The band has been playing together since early 2022 and has performed at a variety of venues in the Winchester and Northern Shenandoah Valley area
